- Health and fitness data — weight, height, BMI, BMR, TDEE, activity level, fitness goals, and target weight
- Apple Health data — steps, active calories burned, sleep hours, and heart rate (only when you grant permission)
- Progress data — check-in photos, daily weight logs, and workout completion records
- Communication data — messages exchanged with your assigned coach through the app
- Device identifiers — a unique user ID to identify your account across sessions
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively to provide and improve the fitg.ai service:
- To create and manage your account
- To calculate your personalised fitness metrics (BMI, BMR, TDEE, calorie targets)
- To enable your coach to create and adjust your personalised diet and workout plans
- To track your fitness progress over time
- To sync your health data from Apple Health for an accurate activity picture
- To facilitate messaging between you and your coach
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use your data for tracking across other apps or websites.
3. Apple Health Integration
fitg.ai requests access to Apple Health data including steps, active calories, sleep, and heart rate. This data is used solely for App Functionality — to display your daily activity and help your coach understand your progress. Health data is linked to your account and is never shared with third parties or used for tracking purposes.
You can revoke Health access at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → fitg.ai.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Vercel (United States). We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Access to your personal data is restricted to you, your assigned coach, and authorised fitg.ai administrators.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's Privacy
fitg.ai is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
